چکیده
The North East area of El Baharya Oases represents one the highest priority areas for future agricultural development in Egypt. study is located between longitudes 29° 9' 28.354" , 27' 38.264" and latitudes 28° 47' 26.562" 3' 17.531" covers an about 101294 feddans. A physiographic map was produced to present mapping units area. classified into two landscapes, i.e., plateau 23.77 % total plain which 77212.3 feddans (76.23 area). soils are as Entisols ( Torriorthents Torripsamments) Aridisols (Haplogypsids, Petrogypsids Haplosalids). Land capability used evaluate four subclasses, S2x, S3x,n S3x,d N1x,d,n .The S2x (69.26 area) have moderate limitations crops, whereas texture most limiting factor.

Analyzing Land Use/Land Cover Changes Using Remote Sensing and GIS in Rize, North-East Turkey
Mapping land use/land cover (LULC) changes at regional scales is essential for a wide range of applications, including landslide, erosion, land planning, global warming etc. LULC alterations (based especially on human activities), negatively effect the patterns of climate, the patterns of natural hazard and socio-economic dynamics in global and local scale. In this study, LULC changes are inves...

Introduction Trend of increasing natural resource degradation in many parts of the world, is a serious threat to humanity. Desertification is one of the manifestations of the damage that has already suffered as a scourge of many countries, including developing countries are. At present, remote sensing is one of technologies with timeliness data and accuracy suitable for monitoring land use c...
متن کاملAssessment of Land use/land cover Change in the North-West District of Delhi Using Remote Sensing and GIS Techniques
Land is one of the prime natural resources. A city grows not only by population but also by changes in spatial dimensions. Urban population growth and urban sprawl induced land use changes and land transformation. The land transformation is a natural process and cannot be stopped but it can be regulated. Many geographical changes at the urban periphery are associated with the transfer of land f...
متن کاملDetecting land cover changes through remote sensing and GIS techniques
This note concerns the updating of the land cover map of the Arno River basin (9.000 km) developed in the frame of a research project aimed at landslide risk assessment. The land cover map has been produced through the analysis of panchromatic/multispectral Landsat ETM+ images and TERRA-ASTER data; those data were integrated and compared with B/W and color ortho-photos. To improve photointerpre...
متن کاملDetection of Land Use Changes for Thirty Years Using Remote Sensing and GIS (Case Study: Ardestan Area)
Due to the increase of changes in the land uses mainly resulting from humaninterferences, monitoring the changes and evaluating their trend and environmental effectsfor future planning and management are essential. In the present study, an attempt is madeto observe the changes which had occurred in Ardestan area during a period of 30 yearsusing some satellite images. Different kinds of data for...
